Instructor of Dutch (Summer 2025) - Docent Nederlands (zomer 2025)

The Language Workshop of the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies at Indiana University in the U.S. seeks instructors for its 2025 program in Dutch (June 9 – August 1). The Workshop is an intensive, online 8-week program, providing accelerated, performance-based instruction.

Required Qualifications

  • Native or at least ILR 2+ / ACTFL AH speaker of Dutch
  • MA (at least in progress) or equivalent in language, language instruction, linguistics, or related field
  • U.S. citizen, non-citizen authorized to work in the U.S., or non-citizen able to receive a J visa

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in communicative, standards-based instruction
  • Experience in accelerated and intensive instruction
  • Experience in independent teaching
  • 2 semesters or more experience teaching language in U.S. at the university level
  • Experience teaching Dutch to university students
