Dutch exams abroad

The Nederlandse Taalunie (Union for the Dutch Language) offers a number of facilities to students abroad. Students outside the Netherlands and Flanders can pass a Dutch-language exam in their own country that is also valid in the Dutch-language area. The Taalunie has set up a worldwide exam programme called the Certificate Dutch as a Foreign Language (CNaVT).

The Certificate of Dutch as a Foreign language is a certificate for students abroad that is recognised internationally. Students worldwide need to have a means of testing their skills to determine whether their level is high enough to study or work in a Dutch-language environment or in the Netherlands or Flanders.

For more information, please have a look at the CNaVT website.
